Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, August 13, at 10:30 AM, we invite patients, visitors, and employees to a special choral performance of the OPPChorus in the hospital promenade.
In 2025, the OPPChorus proudly celebrates 27 years as musical ambassadors for the Ontario Provincial Police. Made up entirely of volunteers, the Chorus performs across Ontario in churches, nursing homes, community events, and official ceremonies, including the Ontario and Canadian Police and Peace Officers Memorials. Their wide repertoire includes Broadway, pop, sacred, and secular music. In 2017, they took part in a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous concert (18 days, 5 hours), and over the years, they’ve serenaded five commissioners, OPP officers, their families, and veterans. They were an integral part of the forces’ 100th anniversary celebrations in 2009 and are proud to share their music, fulfilling their mandate: “Police and community-on the same beat.”
