The Timmins and District Hospital is declaring an outbreak of Influenza A on the Medical B unit. We continue to work closely with the Porcupine Health Unit to ensure the continued safety of our patients, staff and physicians.

In July we welcomed three new hospital-based physicians: Dr. Devon Aitken, Dr. Sebastian Diebel, and Dr. Michael Schmidt.
A new Community Stroke Rehabilitation Program, launched last fall, is supporting patients after they leave the hospital.
