Medical Units
Our medical units cares for patients who are admitted for a wide range of conditions that require hospitalization. This can include diagnoses and treatment of medical conditions or helping patients recover from injury.
Patients admitted to either Medical B or Medical C are cared for by a highly trained, multi-disciplinary team. The units are directly staffed with registered nurses, registered practical nurses, and personal support workers. Additional members of your care team can include occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, pharmacists, dietitians, nurse educators, speech therapists, volunteers, clerks and many others.
Our team of hospitalist physicians supports both medical units, providing around the clock care for patients. As a teaching hospital, TADH also supports family medicine residents, whom also provide care under the guidance of attending physicians.
