Accreditation Canada awarded the TADH Accreditation with Commendation Standing under the Qmentum program for the period of 2016 to 2020, recognizing that the hospital met national standards of excellence in quality care and service.

Focused Commitment

The Timmins and District Hospital is committed to continually improving our services. That’s why we voluntarily participate in accreditation with Accreditation Canada – to learn what we’re doing well and where we can improve.

By having external surveyors assess our services against national standards, we are better able to focus our quality improvement efforts.

Accreditation Canada

Accreditation Canada surveyors visit TADH (and other hospitals and health-care organizations) every four years to examine how well we’re meeting standards and make recommendations, which help us develop our action plans for quality improvements.
