The Personal Support Worker (PSW) works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in delivering quality patient- and family-centered care. The PSW assists with or provides personal care that an individual is unable to perform and may deliver basic elements of nursing care under the direction of the nursing coordinator or delegate. Working closely with the nursing care team, the PSW performs duties under the supervision of a nurse.
The Timmins and District Hospital will provide accommodations for applicants with disabilities during the recruitment process.
We thank all applicants for their response; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment supporting diversity in our work environment to provide quality care where all feel valued, respected, and supported. We are dedicated to building a workforce reflective of the communities, in which we live, serve, and encourage Indigenous people, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities to apply and self-identify.
