To co-ordinate, perform and document all activities involved in the MRI Service in DI. Exercises
professional judgment in performance of duties and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical
ethics.
1. Must be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Medical Radiological
Technologists and be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists
of Ontario.
2. Must possess the ability to perform position responsibilities which require the precise attainment
of strict limits, tolerance and standards and to make independent decisions to ensure optimal
patient care and efficient operation of the department.
3. Must possess the verbal ability to communicate orally with patients, physicians and other medical
personnel in order to give and receive information or instruction and to write clear and accurate
technical reports.
4. Must possess the numerical ability to make mathematical calculations quickly and accurately for a
particular treatment plan, to ascertain the amount of radiation reaching a particular body area.
5. Must possess the perception to review images for Quality Assurance Purposes.
6. Must have the physical capacity to perform medium work, requiring lifting and positioning of
equipment and patients and the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
6. Employment history, which demonstrates regular attendance at work.
7. Multi-Modality Experience would be an asset; MRI Certification is mandatory.
Starting salary of $71,838.00 -$100,951.50 /year$36.84- $51.77 /hour
Option to enroll into Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan.
Current sign-on incentive of up to $5,000, subject to terms.
