Today, we proudly celebrate and recognize the incredible Timmins and District Hospital team at our St. Mary’s Garden site.

Since 2021, our dedicated staff have provided compassionate, patient-centred care operating 38 beds at the temporary St. Mary’s Garden site, supporting individuals with Alternative Level of Care (ALC) needs and helping them transition to the most appropriate care setting.

We are also pleased to share an exciting milestone. On September 8, the Ontario Ministry of Health officially approved St. Mary’s Garden as a permanent site of Timmins and District Hospital. This achievement reflects the outstanding work of our team, whose commitment and dedication have made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless patients and families and will continue to do so for years to come.
