Program Overview:
Welcome
Delivering outstanding patient care means ensuring that each patient benefits from the highest quality and safest care possible. As a result, everyone at TADH is focused on quality and safety.
Services:
Patient Quality
TADH is committed to delivering excellent patient care that is based on quality and safety. We want to ensure our health care services are consistent with the needs of the patients, families and communities that we serve.
While our programs and services evolve, our priority stays the same - continuously improve to ensure a safe, high-quality care experience.
Our entire organization, including our Board of Directors and our front-line health care professionals, works together to create a culture that supports safe, quality care. We do this through a number of formalized documents and plans you will find in this section of the website, including:
- Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA) - Our Promise to You
- Patient Safety Tips
- Quality Reporting
- Quality Planning
How to bring your feedback, concerns or questions forward:
- Talk to a staff member who is with you; ask for a response if you have a concern.
- Request to speak with a Program or Department Manager.
- If you are still concerned after speaking with staff or the program/department manager you may contact the director of Quality & Patient Safety in writing at safety@tadh.com

Timmins and District Hospital is committed to continually improving our services. That’s why we voluntarily participate in accreditation with Accreditation Canada – to learn what we’re doing well and where we can improve.
By having external surveyors assess our services against national standards, we are better able to focus our quality improvement efforts.
For more information on the accreditation process we encourage you to visit the following web site:
Or you can contact our Accreditation Coordinator – Natalie Carle at 705-267-2131 extension 2193.
Accreditation Canada surveyors visit TADH (and other hospitals and health-care organizations) every four years to examine how well we’re meeting standards and make recommendations, which help us develop our action plans for quality improvements. Surveyors will be onsite in 2020.
