Timmins, ON- Timmins and District Hospital is advising the public that in addition to the Vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE) outbreak, we have declared an Influenza A outbreak on Medical B, as well.  Given the number of cases on this specific unit, we are implementing visitor restrictions on this unit until further notice. We are asking for the public’s assistance with the following:

Medical B is closed to visitors until further notice.
